    Default Avatars

What is the easiest way to re-size a picture in order to use it as an avatar? I normally use Irfanview to edit my photos, and tried sizing it down to 150x150 pixels, but my pictures are usually still 38k or so and the max is 10k. If I get it to 10k, it's the size of a dime, LOL! Chris did my last one for me, but I would really like to get the hand of this myself. Thanks for any replies!

Picasa free from Google, just use the export command under file.

Microsoft also has a resize tool that is free to download, after you install it, all you have to do is right click on the file and it gives you several options to resize the pictue, one which is for thumbnails.
